    Default incorrect flashing technique??

    Something is wrong with the way that this roof is flashed, wouldn't you say??

    Ron,

    You really need to take your finger off that zoom button every once in awhile man.

    What are we looking at here?

    I assume that metal roof does not extend far enough past whatever that is in the picture.

    Pretty hard to tell since there are inadequate clearances between the siding and roof.
    Do you have any better pic's

    Looks like a tile roof to me.

    There should be 2" between the bottom of that siding and the roof line, if it was that way, you would be able to see (or not see, as the may be) the flashing.

    *My guess* is that the flashing is there, because, if it was not, that would be one huge leak pouring into the house.

    Oh, yes, concrete tile roof - as Brandon also said.
