Roof tiles
I have never seen tiles run like this along a valley. The whole complex is like this, build in 2000.

Re: Roof tiles
Does look wrong, doesn't it. I would refer back this to a roofing contractor and have them provide the manufacturer's installation instructions that allow (or don't) this.

Re: Roof tiles
Bill,
I saw those installed like that all the time. And wrote every one up as being installed wrong. Because they are installed wrong.
But that sure saved the roofer a lot of work and a lot of tiles when he did those roofs!

Re: Roof tiles
Loooking at the pic it's hard to tell if the right installwould even work there. The easy fix was that install. It looks like the architect got his way on that one. I would still write it up and recommend consulting with the association as to possible accessments to fix it if they have found that it has been leaking.
