How to Join Wall flashing to step flashing and Hip ridge shingles on porch roof?
I am putting the last course of asphalt shingles, wall flashing and ridge shingles on my newly rebuilt 1913 porch roof and am confused how these elements should overlap, where to nail or use ashalt adhesive only. is it ok that the wall flashing seems to raise up as it goes over the underlying ridge shingles or should I add a row of shingles under the flashing just to raise it?
