Depends on what area you area in.

If you are in a hurricane prone region, that could lead to high winds lifting the roof sheathing, causing the eventual failure and loss of the roof sheathing, failure and collapse of the roof trusses, and loss of the home.

It happens. HAS happened, during Hurricane Andrew and other hurricanes.

Jeff it would help if you put where you live in your profile.
By the looks, that siding appears to asbestos so that home may have been around awhile. Who knows how long that plywood has been like that.
