What kind of shingles R these???
These shingles appear to be some type of particle board. They are weathered on top but the underneath surface looks exactly like the bottom surface of the drawers in my dresser. No evidence of leaking was found.

I saw a recent post about Woodruf shingles - could this be them. These don't appear as if they ever were made to look like shakes.

Thanks much.

Jonathan

Re: What kind of shingles R these???
Shouldn't those plumbing vent stack flashings be underneath those shingles?

In fact, those are not proper flashings for that use anyway.
