 As for the air handler "corrosion noted on exterior cabinet of air handler beneath suction line". If it doesn't seem to be causing any other type of problems, I don't know what else can be said about it. The corrosion appears to be the result of likely condensate leaks off the suction line. If it leaks and it is wet, it needs servicing.

In fact, I just saw a house this week where I advised my buyers that the front porch roof shingles were secured down with the wrong flavor of bubblegum and that they didn't use enough paperclips on the roof decking.

 However, I would call for bolts into the wall through the ledger board to hold the whole thing up.
