    Default Vent clearances

    Realtor says just had service but when asked for service slips she could not produce and says service slips are no longer allowed to hang from furnace in MA.(yea right) Also 10x10x8 room with solid door. Furnace and water heater.
    No trap on condensate line.

    Tell here she has two choices: a) call the technician back and have them *LOOK* at *everything*; b) look at her cell phone and get familiar with the locations for the 9, the 1, and the 1 ... that she just might need to dial that without much notice in the near future. That she needs to be able to do so without seeing her phone, such as in a room filling with smoke.

    David, maybe you should tell the realtor that the person who serviced the system needs to find a new line of work and that somebody needs to come to the house who knows what they are doing.

    I believe you are overlooking the zero clearance requirement between her fingers and the commission check.
