Carlon flex plus
Hello,
Wondering if Carlon flex blue plus E73317 is suitable for untraviolet light (exterior use). I had read somewhere that not all carlon flex blue is rated for ultraviolet light. Any help will be appreciated.

The following clickable links will take you to their listing information at the UL website. The pages themselves also contain clickable links for the smurf.
FKHU.GuideInfo - Electrical Nonmetallic Tubing
The individual listing: FKHU.E73317 - Electrical Nonmetallic Tubing
and The introduction or scope for the UL standard: Scope for UL 1653
Ambient temp limit 122 F, easily exceeded in direct sunlight. Most attics are enclosed, should not be in direct sunlight even from attic window.

Re: Carlon flex plus
To my knowledge NONE of those "smurf" tube types are rated for use outdoors. There is an exception to the Uses Not Permitted in the NEC "(9) Where exposed to the direct rays of the sun, unless identified as sunlight resistant", but I doubt you will find any which is sunlight resistant.

Also see page 15, "Approved Uses" in the above.
