Irma and Harvey
Harvey:
How did the inspectors in the Houston area do with Harvey's flooding?
Has anyone heard from our inspectors there?
Irma:
How are the inspectors, basically statewide, doing with Irma?
I know power is coming back up around the state, but any damages? I don't recall a recent post from Dom, but if he is like us here, Internet is coming back up with power, and cell based Internet (which I only have at this time) is beginning to get a little better.

Re: Irma and Harvey
I think it is too early to here from inspectors. I am sure everyone involved is reeling from the 2 storms.
I am sure things will pick up for months as insurance adjusters and homeowners hash things out.
Any damage in your neck of the woods Jerry?
Hope you and your extended family are safe.

Good to hear from you Jerry. Sounds like you weathered the storm, but I don't believe Ormond was in direct path of the eye. I have (yes, still have) a friend in Naples, which took a direct hit.

Re: Irma and Harvey
Minor damage here (fences, trees, etc.) to my home but nothing serious. Power came on Friday , with cable/internet later in the evening.
Hope all the coastal guys have what they need to get through it.
Dom.

Re: Irma and Harvey
We got power back Friday too, at 2:30 in the afternoon.
Some trees down, a lot of trees thinned out of small, medium, and large branches - Irma tried to finish what Matthew missed.

Re: Irma and Harvey
In Tampa, FL the damage from Irma wasn't too bad. Most of the damage was from trees that fell over from the wind. I'm glad the storm wasn't as strong as we originally anticipated. It was supposed to be a cat 4/5 but it ended up being a category 2. Just rain and strong winds.
