2020 Changes to the NEC
https://ewh.ieee.org/r3/nashville/ev...ges%20R1.3.pdf
(Look at the GFCI changes, among others, and, no, I have not updated my GFCI page past the 2014 NEC, I had heard that Mike Holt was maybe going do to update the GFCI and AFCI pages 'when he gets time', however, he was busy working on the 2020 Changes to the NEC at that time, and is now busy teaching those 2020 changes to the NEC.
If some NEC code person would like to update the GFCI and AFCI pages for the 2017, and now the 2020, NEC, I will gladly send them the Word .doc files to use as their updating starting point.)

Jack,
Files are traveling through hyperspace, possibly at "Warpspeed" or maybe even at "Lightspeed".
Thank you,

Re: 2020 Changes to the NEC
So dryer 240 volt is now on the GFCI when the new code is adopted. I wonder if that will be exempted in many states or left along. At some point in the future, I see a main breaker just providing GFCI and AFCI to every circuit in the house.

Re: 2020 Changes to the NEC
I know I said would work on the updating of the GFCI / AFCI changes..
As of today I have yet to find time to even look into starting this.
If anyone out there would like to take on this - speak up

Re: 2020 Changes to the NEC
Massachusetts, adopted the 2020 at the first of the year, a few states have since adopted it, CO,SD,TX,WA, & WY, at this time the 2020 is irrelevant in the rest of the country until it's adopted, but when it is, BIG changes are in store.
