 I was surprised to not see the top of that water heater covered in lint.

 I guess they were thinking (absolutely not) that what a wonderful way to get rid of all that lint build up. We can just burn it off.

 It's a self cleaning dryer vent, as long as the water heater flue burns out the lint......
