    So first home today. Just what is called out in the suit. Any of you guys have any other info on this. They are saying lightning strikes blow out the gas lines.

    Not if they are properly bonded to ground.

    The problem, as I understand it, is that, while inspectors made the installers bond 'metal gas piping' (meaning rigid pipe) to ground, they forgot to (in some areas) make sure that the installers bond 'metal gas piping' (meaning CSST) to ground.
