weave
I'm looking at this weave and seeing that it is woven too high from the valley. Is that what you see or am I see ing things?

Looks like intersection of two different pitches. The valley should have been open or cut design.

I am seeing that the top two rows of weave were not staggered properly and threw it all off. I agree that an open or cut valley would have been the way to go. This is new consrtuction by the way. I recommended repairs.

The weave goes from the bottom up and the top being off is a result of not being a 45deg. angle.
Re due of the valley is the correct thing to do IMO.

If they not Installed Per Manufactures Installation Instructions ( and they are not ) it Voids the Warranty.
.
More Prone to Damage from Wind Lift.
.
Gaps under the shingles will collect windblown debris ( leafs, twigs, dirt ) shorting the life of the shingles.
