tile finish

having not done many tile roofs. what are your thoughts on this valley finish?
there has got to be a better way to complete the valley

Strange valley set-up.

That valley metal is preformed valley metal. That particular style is referred to as a "closed valley" because there is no water diverter in the center, the tiles should be mitered to fit snuggly to it (as is shown in 2nd photo).

The photo showing the valley metal at the end of the valley shows, on the left side, what appears to be the upturned lip has been bent down and around.

That photo also shows the secondary water diverters to each side of the center water diverter. These keep most of the water between them and the center diverter. The remaining water is now kept on the valley metal by the upturned edges (which in this case are bent down).

There are various styles of preformed valley metal, but that is what that one looks like to me.

In the first photo, the valley metal is not visible, if this is not that preformed valley metal, then the tile should be pointed up with mortar to keep water out.

Also, typically, when that preformed valley metal is use, they are used with System 1 tile roof systems.

So, what are you saying. English is suppose to be the primary language in the US.

Not according to some.

I can't remember the city in Mass, it may have been saugus. Because the majority of folks were of Spanish descent about 25 years ago they wanted the primary language in the schools to be taught as Spanish.

Go figure. I think it is a shame that folks bring their kids to this country and don't teach them any English before they get here and we have to have it mandatory that teachers can speak Spanish. What's up with that.
