    Default Melted Main Breaker why?

    This must have got hot at one time any idea as to why?

    Probably a bad/loose breaker/buss bar connection that arced.

    But, that is just a guess.

    Thanks Gunnar. I will just get sparky on the job in my report.

    This house has alot of other issue with the electrical systems and just about every thing else for a 20 year old home.

    That's my guess too. I've seen that before, with that being the cause.

    I believe we had a similar photo on another thread recently showing the same thing, looked quite similar ... like it could be the same manufacturer panel.
