    Oxidation is a form of corrosion which is present on copper. Copper does not rust, it oxidizes.

    Write it up.

    That looks like they stored cleanser under the sink, chemical reaction from the bleach (chlorine) in the cleanser.

    Sorry Jimbo.

    But that was some type of douche product. No "harsh" cleaners were present.

    Maybe before that product she had been using Janitor in a Drum.
