Default What do you think of the connection?

This connection just looks wrong. Is it not required to be attached to the roof framing or a sound part of the home?

If the conduit is braced it does not need other anchorage.

The drip loop wires are excessive in length for sure.

Thumbs down Re: What do you think of the connection?

I would call out the condition of the sheathing for repair or replacement. It is split open in at least 2 places and the length allows it to be too close to the rake edge of the roof. The roofer replacing the shingles soon would not like that.
