    Default Underfloor insulation defect ??

I observed this bright orange feature on a few isolated sections of fiberglass bat insulation in a crawl space. There was NO water source anywhere nearby, nor ANY indications of leaks from the flooring above, nor ANY indications that the insulation got wet prior to installation (i.e., staining on the Kraft paper backing, mud, etc.).

The orange "stuff" was very crumbly.
I could not find much on line about the manufacturer/brand - Schuller/Goldline (25% recycled glass).

Anyone seen it before and gotten an answer?

Poor color mixing when making the glass fiber.

Sometimes I've found those areas to be a bit denser than the areas around them.
