    Question Continuing Education Requirements?

Does anyone have a list of those states that have continuing education requirements for home inspectors and what those requirements are?

QuanTEM is putting together a half-day, online training course/webinar on mold for home inspectors and we're wanting to get it approved for CE points in as many states as possible.

I appreciate any input you may have.

    Thanks!

In Texas, You must also have completed 16 classroom hours of commission-approved core/continuing education real estate inspection courses for each 12-month period between your most recent license expiration date and your next license expiration date.

Mold testing is under a different license and licensing board in Texas.

Shawn, would it be eligible for ASHI CE credits? That may be helpful for a lot of people.

    Hi Jim,

We are in the process of applying for ASHI CE credits. I know our lab director is spearheading that.

On a side note, QuanTEM recently joined ASHI and exhibited at Inspection World in Orlando. It was one of the best trade shows we have ever attended!
