    Default Murder Inc. Backup Plan

    Makes me believe there is a real reason to protect people from themselves.
    Flex connector in the wood burning firebox and just in case that doesn't kill you it's piped in in copper from under the house.
    These things keep the job interesting.

    They're using a sand pan type vented gas log burner as a log lighter. Also, log lighters must be piped with black iron--no flex, esp. flex connectors or copper.

    Good catch.

    Keep the fire in the fireplace.

    Was it natural gas or propane.. I see a lot of propane companies run copper feed lines then tie into black iron at the furance
