    Default Jack of all Trades

This was the home owner's way of fixing a spliced joist. The jack was installed last year.
You should have seen the electrical wiring job. I could not inspect the rest of the crawlspace because of all the open splices and duct tape holding the wire nuts on.

And it looks like less than 1/2 the base of that jack is bearing on the stood-up brick.

    Very nice.

Looks and sounds like you might have been at my sisters husbands house.
I don't claim him as even an inlaw.

What the &^%$*? Does he hire munchkins once a month to make sure the seal has held or jack it up again. The owner is the reason tigers eat their young.
