Heck, I could even go with this one.
    Jerry,

You did notice that this particular trike currently resides in Christchurch, New Zealand, didn't you?

Bit of a wet ride getting it home. I doubt that there are any petrol stations for most of the way.

    Going fast is easy.

It's the STOPPING that's the hard part:

    Gunnar,

That's what they make airplanes and boats for.

I'm guessing that the Jaguar IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) was installed in that. Neat little package all wrapped up in its own carrier frame which simply gets mounted to the frame at 8 rubber mounting points - has inboard brakes (a real pain to work on).

As for the front brake - I have no idea.

However, I really doubt someone who owns that is going to take to over 160 mph. Now, those idiots on those rice burners, yeah, they have no sense of survival at all - pop the front up off the road at 90 mph and then keep going faster on only the rear wheel - idiots I tell you.

That guy stuck in the back of that truck, that was not an "accident", that was him getting his "Darwin Award" trophy - he saw it in front of him and tried to get it, well, he got it all right.

I'll stick with my BMW, it goes fast enough. Also stops damn good with triple vented discs.

I'l bet the turning radius sucks on that thing also. Running in a straight line isn't anything - it's how it turns (and stops of course).

No doubt it is not as agile as a normal Jaguar, for sure.

I doubt that it really matter what type of motor a bike/trike has when going fast and trying to stop ... and you only have one tire at front doing the stopping (rear tires do A LOT less stopping than the front does).

So correct, the front brake does aprox. 70% of the stopping.
I wonder how hot it gets sitting between those header pipes also.

I guess I'll just stick to my Harley Davidson
. works well enough for me
