    Default Even Better than FPE

Same house. Man, I had a field day with this place. Check out this Stab Lok panel. Back stabbed aluminum wire at the receptacles, not a GFCI in sight. You all know the story.

By any chance, is this the house of the man standing on the train?

Oh yeah, everything was still live. The buyer's husband is a retired electrician who just had a heart attack. He's going to have another one when he sees this report.

I forgot this one earlier. I was tempted to throw a stick at it from the ground and see what happened, but I felt bad for the county guys who would have to come fix it.

(They aren't quite touching, although it looks like it in this photo. They are about 1/4" apart. I'm surprised that they didn't already arc together, but I guess they need to be a little closer.)

Already done. One of my best friends is a lineman for the county (Glen Campbell?). He's aware of it.

    Jim,

What is that material on the inside of that panelbox? Looks like JB Weld or some type of cancerous growth.
