    Yes, kinda sort a. Basically a compressed fiberboard that certainly does resemble masonite

    I have seen it before after water gets to it.

    Barry, I think I read X - 90 on the last of your photos.
    Check this out Identification of Masonite Siding for Class Action Lawsuit Claim
    Looks like masonite to me.
