    Question GE Kitchen Center

    Hello All,
First post on this forum. Also the first time I've seen this; a GE "Kitchen Center" with its own integrated panel board conveniently located under the kitchen sink rim inside the base cabinet. The panel is fed from the service panel and distributes to the range, oven, c-top receptacles, etc. Ever seen this? What are your thoughts on it?
    Thanks,
    Marc

Kitchen Center is ( Way ) beyond it's Service Life and it's Location in Metal Cabinets directly under the Kitchen Sink poses a Safety Hazard.

    Marc,

I've only seen a few and they were as scary as that one is, being right next to the kitchen sink water and all ...

I seen something like that, but only on commercial food service stations.

    Thoughts?

Just the sight of that turquoise cabinetry is reason to recommend it be buried in the landfill somewhere.

No, no, no, no. Recycle. Lots of metal. Landfills are bad, they are evil.

    Gunnar,

You are correct! I was just making a general statement about getting rid of that junk. Save the landfill space for more plastic bags right.
