Incoming wires to house
Looking at the picture, does this look right? It appears these were spliced. Found on a 60 year old house.

If this was an issue, it would be with the utility. Unfortunately this is SOP for many of them.

That kind of looks like an attempt to steal power unless thats a vine growing up to that conductor.
I'm with Bill on this one. Utility issue.

In my area the service conductors from the pole to the mast head, though the property of the utility company, must be maintained by the homeowner.

I would have to say that splices in the bottom of the drip loop are definately an are of concern.
