    Default re; electric stove ventilation

    Inspected a home built in mid 1960 with electric stove in kitchen and no exaust fan throught the rooof or the recirrulation type with filter. I for all the times mama burns the beans, not for the co2 emission. Was not sure if that was a code violiation for a electric stove. thanks for any info.

    Not for gas or electric, unless so specified by the manufacturer of the range.

    Typically, the only manufacturers which specify an exhaust are the large professional gas models.
