I am not an inspector. I am house hunting in western Washington State. It seems I read somewhere on the website that homebuyers were welcome. I have been doing searches of the forums and finding helpful answers. May I enter and ask questions? If not, just say so and I will read only. Thank you.

    Sure, you can ask questions.

Please ask. Many times, the questions you ask start conversations that educate us all.

Thanks to all for the welcome.

(I'll be darned if I can figure out how to get quotes in a nice box.)

I found the reference to homebuyers! It was in a testimonial, in fact the first one. Does that count? Here it is:

"Inspection News. com is a wealth of information for the beginning inspector as well as the seasoned inspector.
It is also a useful source of information for home buyers as well as real estate professionals." Eric Van Der Wen

Use the "quote" box at the lower/right corner of the entry that you want to quote. Then edit out the stuff that you don't want.

Yes. As others have said, this is open to (nearly) everyone. Just keep a thick skin. No holds barred here.

WELCOME!! Ask all the questions you desire. It helps keep everybody sharp and on their toes. Also throw in your two cents when other questions are asked. There is always something to be learned from any participant on this BB.

You will get great info here. A lot of smart folks!
Sometimes the replies take a turn for the worse, but generally the question gets answered.

    Good luck!

    Welcome and please ask questions.

To add pictures, first reduce their size to 640X480 pixels or similar, and name them with something other than their real street address.
