Default Minimum Required Door Width Opening Size

I looked at a new construction house yesterday where the powder room door frame had a 24 inch wide opening. It seemed pretty narrow.

What is the required minimum width for interior doors?

Thanks John. Next time, I won't be so lazy and I'll look myself.

No problemo. I learned something, too, because I guess I just assumed there were minimum widths. I do almost no new construction, so it doesn't seem to come up.
