    Default Water Supply Systems ?

I can't seem to find anything on the forum about Well Systems. What is a good/quick way that indicates the house water supply is through a well instead of municipal city water.
I mean is it possible for a house in the city to have well systems or is it mainly only installed in small community areas?

    Cheers

Locate the main water shutoff. With a well system, it is more likely to be at the pump than in the house.
Check the electrical panel for a pump circuit. Remember there could be a sump pump or sewage pump.
Look for the city supply meter out by the street.
The well pump will have a pressure tank somewhere, and that is hard to miss.
