    Default Cable run in attic

Any violation running cabling through insulation other than unprofessional?

How about through the ceiling? I did not notice anything on the other side, there must have been a chase below.

No problem with running the NM cables through the insulation, but a big problem with the insulation being installed downside up (upside down ) and the paper facing being left exposed.

Should we worry about that paper shoved up against the pipe? Is that a B-vent?

No need to worry about the paper ... we KNOW it will burn.

Besides, it is the insulation shoved up against the vent which is the problem (for the vent).

It is a b vent and not in good shape. It was just a little loose.
