    Default Exterior LVL

I could not find anything on this. Do you know if this type of LVL is rated for exterior exposure.

No - does not appear to be approved for exterior use based on #5.3 of the attached PDF; Never mind, I can't figure out how to attach a PDF, I'll PM it to you in a minute.
I did some research on exterior LVL's a few years ago. From what I vaguely remember exterior rated ones are much darker in color. Sorry don't remember anymore than that.

Do you see the label where it says ESR 1210? That means there is a report on file with the ICC. Here is the link to the report.

It doesn't directly address rating regarding exterior exposure.

So that means that it is not rated for the exterior!

Matthew, if you read #5.3 in the ESR, it states, dry condition of use, covered and no more than 16 percent moisture content.
I don't live in your location but I doubt Utah weather would comply with that. Therefore, NOT approved for exterior use.

The main point I was making is that you can find information on an item when it (the item) has the ESR number on there.

Markus, thanks. I can't seem to bring that report back up.
