Those are expiry dates. I think.
He likes to eat stale food, and when an item's on special, he gets two.
The letters on some boxes is a mystery alright, unless they stand for "unpalatable" and "vile".
No I think he started with box "A" and is munching his way thru the alphabet.

Don't know about you guys, but this is the typical looking pantry I see everyday.

The one John has there is definately a mental patient.

Reminds me of a home back in the early 70's while I was a plumber. The elderly resident had gallon jugs of water all over the place. Looked like he refilled milk containers in fear of a water shortage. Must have been a couple hundred jugs all over. Couldn't hardly walk around the place. A little eccentric, but he did pay for my work.

What's the use of having 30 year shingles if you don't use 30 year cap?

I don't think those are expiration dates. I'm thinking the dates they were purchased.

What do you call a bunch of home inspectors obsessing over analyzing handwritten dates on cereal boxes (and cupboard contents) in the house of a stranger??
