Default AL to CU wire splice box

Aluminum to copper wire splicing in ceiling box.
Did not use COPALUM adapters and pigtail adapters at oultets.

panel /splicing updated in 1994 remodel.

    Was COPLUM available in 1994.

Was this the "accepted" method in 1994?

Default Re: AL to CU wire splice box

That split bolt is not listed to be used that way. They are for two conductors. It would also need to be listed for use with AL and Cu.
