Thank you to the inspectors that responded.
I have fowarded your information to my Son.

    On a side note
My son gave me a few names that he had found.
He asked me what is a Certified Master Inspector.
I explained what a CMI is to my Son.
    CMI's need not inquire.

Rick, what is a CMI ? Never saw that designation.

Are Georgia home inspectors licensed now? They were not when I lived there in the 1980's (I don't think).

CMI= Certified Master Inspector, or so they claim.

Georgia does has specific requirements for home inspectors, but there is no State License at this time. Columbus GA does have additional requirements for an inspector to be licensed, beyond that of an ordinary business license.

Thanks. Just wondered. In Texas we had to pass a fairly difficult test with required amount classroom hours, experience, and tutilage.

    Good luck to your son.
