    Default Rinnai Tankless Water Heater

    Hi:

Inspected a cabin with a propane fired Rinnai on-demand tankless water heater installed in a kitchen pantry. There is no combustion air available.

It was stuffed inside the pantry and I could not read the labels, warnings, or directions printed on the unit. I cannot find instruction manual on-line.

Does anyone know if these units need room for combustion air?

(sorry. I forgot to take a pic).

This is for one of their units. From what I have seen, all of the indoor units are direct vent.
Well heck, the file was over the size limit but you can get it from the Rinnai site.
