condensate hoses in high efficiency furnace
A furnace I inspected today had a cracking dry rotted condensate hose. the cracking hose was the accordian style one. Other condensate hoses on the unit were the smooth ones.
Which hoses are for what? Is the accordian style one a primary or secondary drain? This cracked accordian hose as well as smooth style ones were comming from the lower end of the inducer fan housing.
Feel free to correct my terminology.

I used to have that furnace. I don't remember which is which. When I zoom in the pic gets too blurry for me to tell. Sorry.
Replacement/universal hoses are readily available.

Re: condensate hoses in high efficiency furnace
The corrugated hose is used to drain the lowest point of the fan housing and is attached to a manufacturer supplied trap either inside the blower chamber on vertical installs, or mounted to the side of the furnace for horizontal installs.
