    Talking All American Handyman

I watched my first episode of all American handyman and I have No Doubt that I could win the whole thing. I might be a little bit concerned about the cameras and celebrities but what I have seen from the competitors they need to stick to their day jobs.

So why is a show called "All American Handyman" being judged by 2 Canadians?

    Dom,

Look at the show "America's Got Talent". (2) of the judges are originally from the UK and is directed by Simon Cowell which is another Brit.

It is called Free Trade. We trade our smarts for your cash. No, nothing is really for free.

Yea, so what? The show isn't called All North-American Handyman, now is it?

    From their web site:

20 Americans from across the country have nailed the chance to be crowned the "handiest of them all" in the new HGTV series,
    .
    Just an observation...

The Americans responded in 1776 by formally declaring their independence as one new nation — the United States of America — claiming their own sovereignty and rejecting any allegiance to the British monarchy.

This is old news, Dom. I could say your point of view is somewhat un-American, but let's not get political now.

Mike Holmes is certainly qualified to be a judge. The show appears to be sponsored by Home Depot & probably is taped in Canada.

America [əˈmɛrɪkə]n1. (Placename) short for the United States of America
    2. (Placename) Also called the Americas the American continent, including North, South, and Central America

Wow, folks like to over-think things sometimes.

I'm off to Tim Horton's now, OK?

Don't you mean "off to Tim 'Ortons, Eh?"

come to think of it, the canadian accent kinda sounds a little bit Bahstin-ish...weird.

in last nights final episode the all knowing mr holmes made one huge mistake. he said over and over that the winners steps needed a handrail and that's minimum code. there was a series of landings less than 30" above grade not steps as he insinuated. there is no handrail requirement here but if he wants to look stupid so be it!
