    Default Roof Leak Rerouting

This is the underside of the roof where a room addition was extended. Evidently the joint between the two roof surfaces leaked. This is a PVC pipe stub, complete with a fitting or two, glued into a small plastic storage tote, which is then screwed into the ceiling. It looks like the owners kept a bucket beneath there to catch the leaks. (The bucket was missing when I inspected it.) It would have taken less time to climb up there and just install a flashing to keep the water from getting in in the first place.

There has to be some duct tape around there somewhere...Didn't see any secondary discharge line either.
