Default New and not sure, that this is the right place to post?

I am a red seal certified Cabinet maker, and I am self-employed, but for health reasons i can not longer continue to work in this field.
Now to my Question, I looked into the Home Inspection Program from PCDI Canada, which offers an online program.
Anybody took this program over PCDI ? Is it a good program ?
In case that this is the wrong place to post this question, I apologize.
    Thank you for any comment.

Welcome Andre... You are at the correct place for your question and just about any other question you may have.

As to the PCDI program...Some one will be along with the info you need.

Not sure what health issues you may have but keep in mind that home inspectors daily carry, erect and climb ladders, walk on roofs, climb stairs, spend 1/2 hr in 150 degree attics and crawl all the way to the back of crawlspaces on their belly. They have to bend down to check most every receptacle in a home and kneel in front of bath and kitchen cabinets to inspect plumbing. They have to raise and lower window sashes and heavy metal electrical panel covers. They walk on uneven ground during the exterior portion.

Home inspecting is a physical occupation that takes places in all kinds of weather and different locations. If you haven' already, you might think about contacting local home inspectors regarding ride-alongs to get a sense of how physically demanding the job can be before you invest too much time and money.

    Thanks Bruce,

I had a disc replacement in my neck a year ago and continued to work in my trade but the constant lifting of sheet-good (45 lbs - 90 lbs) is killing me.
I understand Home inspecting is a physical occupation.
I like your idea about contacting local home inspectors regarding ride-alongs to get a sense of how physically demanding the job can be.
Any body here from Edmonton, who would offer a ride-along?

    Ontario Association of Home Inspectors

Above are links to two Canadian home inspector associations. They would be a good place to start. I am presuming Edmonton is in Canada somewhere. Silly Americans don't know anything about geography.
