Default Open Attic to Porch Ceiling Addition

I opened the kneewall access door and discovered the following:
There was a covered deck added onto a previous addition of the house. Vinyl soffit was installed on the new porch ceiling. It is wide open to the rest of the attic. Should there be a wall constructed to create a barrier, or is this okay?

I see no need to construct a wall as a barrier to the attic.

Why would do you think one is needed?

If the kneewall and interior ceiling in the attic space is insulated, no problem.

To be energy efficient the knee wall should have insulation and an air barrier installed on the attic side.

How high of the porch ceiling?
If it is reachable by stand on a table/chair, I suggest to add a lock on the hatch door for security purpose. I saw this kind of attic can be entered thru the sofit above the sundeck by stand on a table/chair on deck.
