Default Horizontal tailpiece used for DW attachment

This morning's drain plumbing: dishwasher connected to DW tailpiece adapter employed as part of a horizontal run to a center outlet waste tee above the trap inlet.

Is there a specific prohibition against using this tailpiece in this manner?

You mean other than it is not designed or intended to be installed horizontally like that?

Thanks. My usual "in a manner not approved by the manufacturer" really ought to be enough in such cases, I just wanted to have the code citations handy if need be. I guess I really ought to buy the set on CDs, but I'm saving my pennies for an IR camera as I know I've lost a few inspections lately to competitors who have them.
