Talking Hello to all IN Members.....

I am new to the inspection world and I stumbled onto this site while searching for info. about inspector associations which I still am a bit confused as to which one I should join. I am licensed Electrical Contractor and I recently passed the Florida HI exam after completing the AHIT online course.

    Thanks,
    Frank Duranza

Each of the various national associations tout they are the best. The question is best at what? Each association has a fanatical group who will soon chime in and tell you how bad the other associations are.

Join the association that meets locally. The value of an association is meeting the players in your market. Attending the continuing education that usually occurs at most monthly meetings. Keeping up to date with local legislation regarding the industry. Maybe finding a fellow inspector who you can call and bounce questions off.

    LOL. Yep, any minute now.

You aren't choosing a religion. It's purely a cost/benefit analysis. I recommend you click here InterNACHI

Frank, I noticed that you are in Florida.

The Florida DBPR approved InterNACHI's free, online inspection courses for continuing education, Citizens and 4 other insurance agencies approved InterNACHI's 4-point form, and our free, online Wind Mitigation Inspection course has been approved by both the FL DBPR and the Florida Construction Industries Licensing Board. Florida DBPR Approves InterNACHI's Wind Mitigation course, Pre-Licensing Home Inspector course and continuing education courses. - InterNACHI
