    Default Age on a Gaffers & Sattler Furnace

    Hello-
    I found this fossil in the attic and I Googled around to try and find an age- not on any of my Mfg's lists...anyone have a source>
    Gaffers & Sattler, Model: 80 DH. Serial No: 80 D3 -

    Sounds like it may be as old as my L. C. Smith Model 8 typewriter, serial number 2 (circa 1915) - cool!

    Makes for excellent conversation, being serial number 2, but I would not want to count on it for today's needs - same with your heater ...

    maybe they have a museum and an archivist. I just looked at a wood stove the other day and it was very old. Called the company about info on their model 10. she laughed and said Mary will be back next week, she runs archived model files...
