Default Larger size gas hot water tank

If the home upgraded with larger size conventional gas hot water tank, should we worry about possible undersized vent? pilot off? backdraft?

Also if the condense furnace replaced the original conventional furnace, is the shared vent or chimney a trouble, cold chimney?

    Thanks

If the water heater is larger it may have a higher Btu input rating and may require a larger size gas line.
