Default Working with an addition inspector

I have been sending business to an inspector that works under my business name but holds his own insurance. If I get sued over an inspection he performed will it go under his personal insurance or mine and if it's mine do I need to add him on to my insurance?

You should call your E&O provider and get the straight skinny from them.

I think having him working under your Business name would be enough reason for yourself to have him insured.

Nick gave the best advice. Also keep in mind that when it comes time to sue, they go after the company first, then the inspector.

    Thanks! That's what I thought!
