    Default SPCA

Talking about dogs on another thread got me to thinking.

I saw a commercial on TV, it was the SPCA advertising for donations.
It showed big eyed dogs and cats
    I told my wife
If something ever happens to her (she leaves me )
I would be one of those old men with 50 animals you see on Horders

Years ago shortly after we (I) got Rocky, the Yorkie. My wife said that either she would sleep in the other room or he would sleep on the floor.
Rockie looks up at her and says, "We're gonna miss ya"

My wife got Kiki (the Jack Rat) from one of her clients that was moving out of town, she was going to find her a home.
About 2 weeks later our son (with 2 small boys) visits us. My wife tells the boys they can have Kiki, I told her, "You ain't giving my dog away".

    Only 48 to go.

My wife sent me this quote yesterday:

Several years ago I had my German Short Haired Pointer along side me in the front seat.

I stopped at McDonalds drive through, and the attendant saw my dog and asked if she could give the dog a cookie.

I replied that it was not my dog, but my wife.

The attendant was speechless til I started to laugh, then she realized that I was being smart.

I currently have two Vizlas (Xena and Bella). Vizlas are known for their affection and loyalty. And my two are no exception and are spoiled.

Since I don't have children I consider them to be my kids. I relish the thought that I didn't have to save money for the kids education!

Have you hugged your pets today?
