Default How not to vent a sewage pump

Too much trouble to vent that sewage pump, you say? No problem! We'll just pop the AC condensate drain line in there and use the HVAC system to vent that thang!
I don't smell anything, do you?

That's one different sump cover! Is it typical in your area or just specific to the pump manufacturer?

I don't see enough sewage pumps to know if it's typical.
