Default Softener installed in bedroom closet

    Hello All!

Besides being a dumb idea, I couldn't find any reference for NOT having a water softener installed in a bedroom closet.
I'm going to "recommend" that this potential source for leaks/floods be moved to a more convient area, like the garage.

Has anyone else ran across this? What did you tell clients?

    Thanks!

    Be safe out there!

The discharge line was plumbed to the attic with solid wall copper tubing. Nice job, bad location!!! Couldn't verify air gap. ;-(
