Is there a way that a slab leak can be detected during a home inspection?

All slabs "leak" if you are talking about cracks and moisture moving through the slab foundation. That said, that is likely not what you are referring to with your question.
Assuming you are looking for information about a plumbing leak under a slab, then no, leaks that are not visible likely won't be discovered unless they are visible above the slab.
That would require a sewer camera or at least a hydrostatic test of the sewer system.
If it is a plumbing leak on the water supply, then maybe it would be discovered if it was large enough to create a wet spot on the exposed slab or enough to register on the water meter.
So the answer is... it depends on what the precise question is about the leak.

If the slab is visible, yes, a leak could quite likely be detected with an infrared camera.

If the slab is tiled over, probably, but you would need to make sure you are not looking at reflected heat in the glaze of the tile.

If covered with wood flooring or carpet, not likely unless the wood or carpet was wet.
